The Legend subsystem is Author's work repository. It allows Authors to share content as work-in-progress. The Insight server pulls content from Legend before publishing it.

Current implementation of Legend relies on Apache Jakarta-Slide, a WebDAV server.

Slide is bundled in Shaman distribution, and configured automatically for running Legend subsystem.

For technical reasons, no file or directory with a name containing one of the following characters should be imported to Insight.

' ', '<', '>', '~', '/', '\', '*', '?'
